There are crap-knows-how-many sites out there who makes lots of great things, but clothing and hair are the things I use the most. Furthermore, I sometimes get things from The Sims Resource, but, I do NOT trust that place at all. After the incident with Lemonleaf and Praline, I've stayed away from that place *shudders*. So, get your items from TSR at PMBD if you really feel the urge to get something from them in the first place.
For lots, I know of a lot of sites, but it would take forever to name them all. Google is your best friend!
In fact, you can pretty much find everything you need at Sims 3 Updates or My Sims 3 Blog: they update EVERYDAY on the latest new creations people make, and link you to where you can download it.
