Mini vacation gone wrong - Babies 51, 52 and 53

Here's a BIG shout out to my sister (name undisclosed)! Thanks for gifting me the July compilation set. It means a lot to me!

<3

-I'd also like to thank everyone who gave me some insight on my blog by answering some questions. I've decided to NOT change from first person to third person, but to just change from past tense to present tense as it's a real bad habit for me. So if it's a bit crappy writing, just know I'm adapting, and it's hard! I don't know if I'll even see this style through to the end..-
First thing I find outside our door on this Monday morning is a magazine rolled up neatly. The surprising thing is that it's me on the cover! Mister Paparazzi man, Jeff Drummond, seems to have taken up his side of the deal, doing an exclusive on my life.

(First real try at a magazine cover; if you want one yourself, just ask!)
Prom is here for the teens! Starting at 6:00 PM, the limo came 5:00 PM sharp. Logan and Oliver have all the luck, as they have dates. Their two imaginary friends turned real, Primrose and Gabby.

Francine is NOT impressed, even a bit jealous, that the boys are allowed out.
The girls call a small meeting in the Hangout, with me watching from the side.  Apparently, Francine is serious about having some fun herself.

Jaime - So you think this is all a big...conspiracy? To keep kids out?
Francine - YES! It's all a discrimination against age, you see. It seems the older you get, the more privileges you gain. Why not have freedom while you're so young?
Jaime - ..Wow, you use WAY big words. But don't you think you're a bit...paranoid?
Jaime can not stand Francine's big vocabulary, so she convinces me to play some piano so that they could have their own dance that night. Who said kids can't do what they wanted?
It's almost curfew time when the boys get home. They had run into some trouble getting a ride back home.

It seems worth all the trouble, as Ollie and Logan come back home with some treasures; Logan has been awarded Prom King!
Oliver approaches me with a big smile on his face, probably because he has a girlfriend now. I decide to give him some even better news..

"So, Oliver, how would you feel if I told you right now that you and Logan get to age up and move out to live your dreams, and that you're officially done with school?"

A frown forms between his eyes, and I can see him trying to figure out this "easy" puzzle.
"You mean.. We... Tonight...? Oh my GOSH! That would be AWESOME!"
Logan goes first, and turns out a real stud!

That smile can bewitch any girl that passes him.

"Check out my bazillion ab muscles...", is a clear thought I know he'll be having.
Ollie... Well, he just looks adorable with that smile.
Speaking of adorable, so is Thomas! Blue is his favorite color of all time, and he has a weird obsession with sharks. But other than that, he's just like all boys his age.
Before we go on a mini vacation to celebrate me reaching the halfway mark with the challenge, I line up the next daddy and arrange an appointment right away.

Meet Erik Martin, a tourist from France, and now father of baby #51!
Of course will be coming with us, and he greets me with a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, Chica! Packed and ready for some old fashion camping there at the waterfall?" he smiles brightly, making me smile even more (if that's even possible).

"Naturally, yes. I just hope you're the one that will be okay, will running after the kids!"

Chad pulls a funny face at that, so it probably means we'll be doing some aging up again.
Francine Rose

-Francine has come out of her neurotic shell, and has taken a liking towards "rocker" style clothing, which, I really don't approve of-
Jaime Rose
-Jaime does not like the fact that she looks almost exactly like me. She's her own person, and a free spirit, so she took the red/pink higlights out of her hair-

The girls are both so skinny! I start to worry that they may have anorexia, because I know neither of their parents are too thin.

Calista Rose
Connor Rose

It's so fortunate that BOTH of the twins has the Smith trademark blue hair.
To dim it down to a few sentences, Calista (nicknamed Calli) has the most genes from me, and Connor is almost a duplicate of Saffron.

The kids' next question to me is: Is the camping gear all together?
Tents, check!
Strollers, check!
Sleeping bags, check!
And lastly, the picnic basket. All set for a nice little vacation.
We set up the tents immediately as we get there, for fear that if mosquito's appear, we can always duck in there!
What do the girls do? They go straight to the recliners to lay in the sun and tan.
Calista and Connor are the best of friends, even though they are playing through their toy dolls mostly.
A portable Gnubb set is something Chad brought along, and Thomas is loving the company of another man. Even if it's just for the macho banter.

"Prepare to eat my dust, little man!" Chad laughs.
"Dude..," Tommy leaves the word hanging in the air.

And for good reason! On his first throw, Thomas knocked over one of Chad's "bunny objects".
It's so funny (to me) how each of us have a different expression and way of thinking when it comes to fishing. Francine is worried, Jaime is just having fun, and there's always me that's neutral.
Before long, we tire of fishing for absolutely nothing and Thomas asks, almost begs to go for a swim.

"We're all so sweaty from playing that Gnubb game, by the way, its pretty stupid to me. Can I get my gameboy?"
"Gameboy? Not now, Tommy! But we can go swimming..."
After a nice gathering at the fire, some singing and roasting the marshmellows, Chad gets me to sit down and watch the stars with him.

"You see that star. It's beautiful, just like you."
"Oh, Chad! You're gonna make me cry!" I gush.
"Well, it's true. Let's name it something that's sounds nice.. How about, just Rose? It's your last name, easy to remember, and it's also just what you are.."

I smile, but as I cast my eyes up to the sky, I always remember my two angels watching down on me. The two Rose girls that could never be here with us. Keira and Liana.
Shooting fireworks happens just before we put our heads to rest.

You just gotta love that symbol!
Calli and Connor are such delights to have around, with their cute faces, funny giggles and interesting way of drinking their bottles.
Another midnight dip? Yes! Jaime takes the lead with a classic pool bomb, where I try and be graceful with a nice swan dive.
So there has been enough time for cooling down to chat and catch up with everyone in the immediate household. But what about dad, my sisters, all my other kids, oh, and if course.....my mom.

My father, Justin, greets us with a warm smile at the door, his smell actually blending in with the surroundings.

"Been working in the garden, have we, daddy?"
"Of course... it's all a old man like myself can handle..ooof...backpains... Eh, come inside darling."
I shake my head in amazement that my father can still handle such tasks.
Grace has been off duty for a while, and she worries that she might be booted off the military force, but yet we talk up a storm. I love having her here, where she's safe. Everyday I dread that she might die, or get injured, working in the military.
Father really can't keep his hands of Saffron! The blue haired boy has his grandpa wrapped around his little finger.
Even with our vacation in motion, Jaime and Francine both worry about schoolwork, having to catch up some extra work.
Francine shoots me a unimpressed face, and I know what she's thinking.
I'll get my revenge...someday...
Even Carmen is there, not having any clients today (lawyers, pffft). She had the greatest news for us.

"I have a new boyfriend...!" she told me in a hushed voice. "Well, you know things between me and Yuro ended after that one...fight. He didn't look for a serious and stable relationship, so I've moved on and got myself a really nice guy. He's name is Charlie, and he's the sweetest guy ever.."

She rants on about this guy for a couple of minutes, telling me almost everything, downright to the color of his sister's hair.
Virtual reality, or to be more generic, video games in general, seems to be addicting, or at least, they are to Thomas and Jaime!
Both of them are enjoying the available technology in my parents' home.

Jaime - Oh my freakin' gosh, we're storming a criminal's warehouse! Ooh, ooh! Should we scream "Freeze!" or just "Police!", hey?
Thomas - ...Whatever, you're crazy. Dammit, car crash! Hey, red or black car?
Jaime - Does it look like I care?
Chad was really hitting it off with my father. Let's just hope it doesn't go that far that he asks permission to marry me...though I wouldn't mind.
As expected, mom and I start to argue as soon as we see each other. See, the reason we don't see eye to eye, is that I've never forgiven her for not being there for my 16th birthday, or my 18th even. She was hardly at home, being a hotshot CEO of a mega corporate place. That was probably her daily routine, seeing as she is...20 years younger than my father.

Destiny - Off to work, are we?
Kimberley - For God's sake, Destiny. You're a grown up girl now, you hardly see me anyways, so why care now?
Destiny - Oh, I don't know. Maybe because you leave daddy at home every weekend. That you hardly spend time with HIM. You probably don't even know he cries himself to sleep when you're not there!
Us girls hang out for the rest of the weekend at the gym, doing some stretching and other assorted exercises, which the Jaime and Francine aren't to fond of. Me, no complaining. This is a great help to burning off some fat accumulated from having kids!
The only other adult in the building, of course, Chad, takes Thomas and the twins off of my hands and for some relaxing time at the pool. Sure, Tommy and Chad gets to enjoy this outing, but I AM worried about the toddlers...

"Calli! Don't go near the edge, you'll fall in! What will your mom think of me then?" I hear Chad practically screaming. Okay, time to get out of here.
We get back home quite late, yet Francine has enough fuel left in her system to surprise me with a hardy pillow case. When I get tired, she heads off to get Jaime to pummel her as she did with me.
Half an hour later, they were sound asleep, not making any extra effort to get to their rooms!
Guess who stays up late to help me? Well, it's pretty rhetorical. Chad and I get Calista and Connor talking and walking so much, it's quite a struggle for us to get them back in their cribs.
I'm getting worried about Thomas. Playing games for twenty minutes is okay, but being stuck behind a gaming machine is another thing. Video games addiction equals not good in my book, and I'm really afraid Thomas might become anti-social is he keeps going on like this.
The riding toys are really coming in handy! Calli and Connor want to play on it non-stop. Luckily their only toddlers with a need to nap occasionally, so we don't have to help them ride the entire time.
Scratch what I said; they have A LOT of energy and probably no need to nap. It's night time, but these twins have no desire to leave their peg box or xylophone for a cushy crib.
There was no hope to having the teen girls here any longer. Jaime and Francine wanted out, hating the fact that they do homework and have exams, and that some of it was rather pointless.

Jaime is definitely still the unique girl she's always been. This time, she went for an all-out makeover, coloring her hair a rather deep green, which goes nicely with her new make-up. Francine grew out of her bad habit to wear clothes that suited rockers more than it suited her, and she loves her new look too. She's off to become a scientist, while Jaime follows her lead.

We took one last picture of them together, and now it's located outside their room.
It's probably the feeling of losing them that brought on labor.
"DESTINY! Why do you always have bad timing when it comes to popping these kids out?!" Chad yells as he comes into my room.

"Oh, I don't know. It's not like I CONTROL when the baby comes! Now HELP me.....please?"

Finally as Chad calms down enough, he somehow manages to put on some clothing and drives me to the hospital.
This is a big surprise! It's been a while since we've had the need to use a baby carrier...
Introducing,

Eric Rose
(named after his father, but spelled with a "c" at the end)
Makayla Rose

and
Willow Rose

It's been a while since there's been a set of triplets in the house!

A little while later...
Chad drags me down to the bistro for a romantic dinner, leaving the kids yet again with a babysitter. I hated leaving them at home to go on a date, no matter how much I love Chad. It's something we should talk about  tonight then.

"So, this is nice! It's not everyday we get to spend some time alone with each other." Chad smiles broadly at me, and I can't think of breaking his heart by saying we have to see each other a little less once again.

"Yeah, is it. Listen, I have something I need to talk to you about-"
"Of course, of course," he interrupts me. "I, too, have something important to tell you.."
He never gets around to what he wants to say as tires screeching on the hard tar stops all conversation at the bistro.

A red Ferrari pulls up on the pavement outside the building. No no, that's wrong,  the driver actually parks outside the DOOR of the place.
I can see Matthew displaying some discomfort at the fact someone would wreck a car like that.
But Matthew will probably feel better in a minute. The thing that's shocking, is that Chad apparently knows the crazy driver.

"Sylvia, in heaven's name, why are you following me around? I told you 'no' the last time, and it still stands."
"Well, maybe it's the fact that you can't bail out, little man. You got your own socks drenched in this situation, it's time you pay up and leave a statement."
Sylvia, or who knows what her name is, is definitely a striking person, with luscious blond hair and deep blue eyes, with the body the model of a supermodel. For a moment, I'm extremely jealous of her looks and her youth, but I have my kids, and that's more than beauty to me. Apart from jealousy, I'm instantly curious, and listen in a bit.

"We had a deal. You'd leave me and Abigail alone, and I'd never see you again... Well, that wasn't MY choice..." I hear a side of Chad I had never thought he had. He looks like he could like he's ready to tear this woman apart.

"You're the investigator on this case. YOU were supposed to hand over any information you have to the SIA.. But no, Mr. Bigshot wanted to all the money so he could wave it in the agency's face, huh? I saved you, mister Walker. From a life of crime and being a slave to gangs..."
This is where Chad lost it, pulling his hand back into a fist, ready to punch her, but I step in.

"A life of crime? Mister Walker? Gangs? SIA? Investigator? Chad... What is she saying?" a unmistakable tremble can be heard in my voice. It's like a wall was about to crumble inside me.

"Oh, don't think he's perfect, Miss Rose. By the way, hi! I saw you on that magazine, and I loved the article.. Chad here is actually in reality, a small time investigator. He had been jumping around from job to job to fit his needs, even trafficking drugs once.. But I found him just in time and saved his soul, and because he has a big list of contacts, he's the best man we got for supplying information." Sylvia is very open about telling me the truth. I think she might even enjoy it.
I look at Chad, and I don't see the face of denial, or even anger, but like someone who just lost everything in his life.

"I should have told you... Sylvia is Abigail's mother..." I gasp, almost choking on the air, but say nothing, so he continues. "Because she's a SIA agent she gave me custody of Abigail. I knew everything about you before I even told you my name. You hadn't been anyone's case to investigate, you're just a normal person,  but I found out about your challenge and I got intrigued. I even fell in love with you and your children."
I took the lead from here. "So, you're a... an SIA agent? God, what is it with me and police officers of the government! Am I like a magnet to you? First Corbin, now you?"

"Corbin? Huh? Never mind, not important. I'm not a agent. I WAS a artist once upon a time, but I needed more money, and I got lost... And later I ended up being an investigator, and it fits the bill, you know. It's not half of the story even. I swear I'll tell you everything..."
He pleas and begs for me to forgive him. Deep down in a small part of my heart, there's already a ounce that forgives him, and that wants nothing more than to grab him and hold him close. But it's only a small part of me that wants that.

"So let me get this straight. You lie to me about your real name. You put me and my family in danger just by knowing me. You've practically stalked my personal life. You don't tell me anything about your real past, like how you were involved with criminal activities, but oh, you don't even feel the need to tell me your past "girlfriend" who's the mother of your child is hotter than a Brazilian model?" The last sentence almost makes me want to laugh. I run out of reasons to blame him, because frankly, I don't know why I'm upset, but it feels right.
I grab my keys off of the dinner table and storm off to my car, with Chad hot on my heels.

"Chica, wait-!"
"No, you wait. Don't ever, EVER, call me Chica again."
"But, please, just let me finish..."
I interrupt Chad (or whoever the hell he really is) again. "Chad.. Mister Walker, I don't want you close to my house, my kids, or myself. I don't want to see you again, but I want you to take care good care of Abigail, because she's gonna need it."

Climbing into the car, I slam the door shut, and speed off. I see Chad's silhouette in the dark, running down the hill to catch up. It's a lost cause as my Toyota speeds around the corner, out of sight from him.
I feel empty as I enter my own house, it's familiar white walls now pressing in on me rather than uplift me. Thomas seems to have stayed up late, and he's the one that greets me.

"Mommy, are you okay? Where were you? Was uncle Chad mean to you?" he bombards me with questions I really can't answer at that moment.

"Mommy's fine.. We'll be fine, Tommy."
Even the words of condolence I passed on to Thomas couldn't help make me feel any better. All a lie, that's the problem. My relationship with Chad, the feelings he had. All fake, somehow.

Why is it that I can never hold onto a boyfriend for long?
And why is it that I always get involved with people from the government?
Falling asleep is the second hardest thing I've faced today. Images just refuse to stay out of my head, especially Chad's sad look. The toddlers are asleep, and it's only Thomas that's old enough to see I'm sad, so he's the one that stays up for a while to sit by next to me on the bed.

Tommy, what would I be without you?

~♥~

This post is dedicated to a close friend of mine who just went through a really bad break up with her boyfriend, who she's been with for two years.
Good luck, girl!

Okaaaaay, moving on... Ya see how I'm still adapting to this new style of writing? I almost feel like not changing it at all and continue how I've always written.

This post is really, really late as the third term of school just started last week and there's just to much to do, with so little time.

Thanks for reading!

Everything in this post is pure FICTION. Do NOT think that the government is stalking your personal life, because they aren't.

;)

Ciao!
